In the early days of the Netarhat Old Boys Association’s establishment, coinciding with the location of Netrahat School in Jharkhand, a profound connection with farming and rural life was forged among its members. Recognizing the challenges and hardships faced by local farmers due to limited opportunities and outdated agricultural practices, they initiated the “Kisan” project. Through this endeavor, NOBA GSR endeavors to enhance the holistic well-being of farming families by introducing innovative farming techniques, providing essential knowledge, and fostering improved livelihoods. This project serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment to addressing the needs of the agricultural community and making a positive impact on their lives.

Workshops with agricultural experts
Previously, we conducted an informative agriculture workshop aimed at educating farmers about various farming issues and their repercussions. As part of our ongoing program, we intend to host additional agricultural events, carry out surveys and research to pinpoint farmers’ challenges, and offer effective solutions.
We have the opportunity to showcase the valuable work of our interns who have diligently compiled a list of fruit trees recommended for cultivation in Bihar’s farmlands, ensuring optimal yields. This insightful report can be shared in our blog section. We will place a the link in workshop with agriculture expertise section, providing easy access for visitors to navigate directly to the blog. This will emphasize that our organization isn’t solely focused on implementation but also actively engages in research.

Distribution of High Quality Seeds
Furthermore, within this initiative, we have distributed high-quality seeds to farmers in Bihar and Jharkhand upon request, ensuring access even for those facing financial constraints.

Implementation of innovative farming techniques
In our quest to promote innovation in farming practices, we plan to collaborate with experts and team members to implement cutting-edge techniques. To achieve this, we have established connections with agricultural colleges and field experts, ensuring that farmers receive the best possible guidance for optimal agricultural outcomes.
